Powder Perfect The Castle Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys!

Today on the blog I have a swatch and review of the Powder Perfect The Castle Collection for you guys!

I just absolutely adore Jacinta's polishes so I am really excited to share these with you. If you haven't purchased any Powder Perfects for your polish collection already then you are missing an amazing and vital polish brand!

I had to swatch these twice as my original pictures got 'lost' but the polish is so easy to work with and opaque that it wasn't a big deal at all. Even the lighter pastel colours are opaque in 2 coats which is a huge plus when you are swatching.

Let's jump into the swatches!

Crenellations is a dark grey creme. This is so easy to work with and really sets itself out from all the other dark grey polishes I have because of the formula. It was almost perfectly opaque in one coat and if I hadn't been photographing it under lights I could have left it at one coat. I have worn this 3 times since I got it and it looks amazing matte! I just can't stop reaching for it! I used 2 coats for the photo below.

Family Crest is a rich wine red lacquer with a pink shimmer throughout. While there are a lot of colours similar to this, you would be challenged to find one with such an amazing formula. This was opaque in one coat but a little thin in some areas so I did one more coat to even it out and it was perfect. The shimmer in this makes it so beautiful in the direct sunlight. I used 2 coats for the photo below.

Gilded Beauty is a soft coppery gold metallic polish. This is a one coater if your nails don't have noticable ridges or have a killer base coat but if you have ridges you may need two or at least a base and top coat to disguise them a little. For a metallic/frosty polish this one doesn't leave any brush strokes at all. One coat and no brush strokes? Does it have any flaws, you ask? Well, I would say you need to be careful with application as the shimmer gets everywhere during clean up, but it isn't a big deal if you wash your hands once it's dried. SO worth it. The formula and colour is stunning. I used 1 coat for the photo below.

Library Dust is a subtle periwinkle blue creme. This is one coat you guys. One. Flawless formula, amazing colour! This compliments my pale skin tone to well and I think it's the perfect 'all year long' colour if you're one of those people that match their polish to the season. I used 1 coat for the photo below.

Once Glorious is a delicate lavender creme. This one is almost as perfect as Library Dust and could almost be a one coater but I messed up my first coat so added another to smooth it all out. Not the polish's fault at all. It was late haha. Another all year shade that would match all seasons in my opinion. I used 2 coats for the photo below.

Recollection is a gorgeous creamy nude lacquer balanced delicately between warm and neutral tones. This nude is perfect for my pale skin tone and I can totally wear it as a true nude polish. I finally found it you guys! Anyone who wears nudes/neutrals as much as I do know they are a 3 or 4 coat process to get them opaque and not looking uneven, but this polish was perfect in 2 coats. If you hadn't gotten it already, the formula on these polishes BLOWS MY MIND!! I used 2 coats for the photo below.

I love love love the formula on these and am so proud that this quality polish is coming out of Australia.

You guys need these polishes if you wear moody cremes (which is my go to polish!) because while you may have colours similar to these, you don't have formula's anywhere as good as these polishes.

Jacinta, you are a genius. I bow down to your brilliance!
