Water Spotted Nail Design

Hi guys!

This is an easy technique that you only need an alcohol based liquid spray to create the pattern in nail polish in the water.

Look how cool they look! And they're super easy to do, as shown in the tutorial below!

For mine, I used OPI 'Russian Navy' as my base colour & 'Alpine Snow' water spotted over the top. This technique is similar to water marbling in the way that you need to float some polish on top of water. But that's all that's similar. Water marbling is hard. This technique is easy enough that a child could do it :)

You float a drop of polish on the water surface, spray the alcohol on top of it, wait for the polish to spread and the pattern to appear and then dip your nail into the water.

And when you take your nail out, they look like this!!

My liquid tape tutorial makes clean up on these a LOT easier. You can watch the tutorial on how to make your own here.

Oooh pretty!! You can do these with different colours, or more than one colour on top of each other to create a layered water spotted design.

I love how easy these are to do. You can also dip multiple nails in the pattern at the same time to save time and nail polish.

Watch the video tutorial below to see for yourself how easy these are to do!

Video will be added once it uploads to YouTube.
Please check back in a few hours.
