Winter Wonderland Nails AKA My Favorite Nails EVER plus Long Video Tutorial

Hi everyone!!

Today I think I did the my favourite nail design I have ever done. What do you think?

Squeee!!! I knew when I saw @madamluck's snowy graveyard mani that I had to use her white texture polish watermarble as falling snow for a Christmas/Winter Wonderland mani. It's so effective! And 3D!

I even filmed a 7 minute detailed video for YouTube that can be seen below!!

I started off with a base of OPI 'My Boyfriend Scales Walls', painted the trees and snow on the tree branches with acrylic paint using my Pure Colour detail brush from @faburnails and then added a top coat :) It looked like this!

Already awesome!! I think it can be left like this and still look super cool.

To finish the look, I added a drop of Sally Hansen Sugar Coat in 'Sugar Fix' into water and when it spread over the surface of the water I dipped my nail in to cover the tree mani. I then added OPI 'Alpine Snow' to the bottom for settled snow and left it un-topcoated so it looked more three dimensional. I absolutely adore how this turned out.

And here is the longer video. I dislike how instagram limits you to 15 seconds because sometimes it's hard to show all the steps in detail. Hopefully this video helps you create your own winter wonderland mani!

I hope you love these as much as I do. I see winter snow as such a magical and wonderful thing because I have never had to shovel it or go to work while it was on the roads. One day I will spend a winter in a place where it snows!!
