Then I woke up early and finished them. Jason Voorhees and blood splatter nails!!! I love the blood splatter on it's own for Halloween but Jason adds a little something extra.

I will be selling the gel pens I use for people who can't find them overseas
through email order only.

Email me at to enquire about pricing. Prices will
depend on how many you order and where you live as I will obviously
need to include postage costs onto your order.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2 New Nails +Wrap Up

Hi dolls!

I have two new Breast Cancer Nails to wrap the month up with and an overview on all of my Breast Cancer and Pink manis for October.

First, my two new manis!

These, because F*CK cancer.. Love this organization. LOVE their name. And if this offends you, then you obviously haven't had anyone close to you suffer from this evil disease.

Base is China Glaze 'Bottoms Up' and lettering done with my Signo Uniball gel pens :) topped with Sally Hansen Big Matte Top Coat. So quick and easy.. so effective!

Next is my 3D Breast Cancer Ribbon Nails. I saw @yagala's 3D bow tutorial and knew I needed to use it for a pink ribbon. You paint polish on a piece of tape or plastic, wait till it's dry then peel it off and cut it up. It is fragile but looks so cute!!

I used OPI colours 'Chic From Ears To Tail', 'Alpine Snow', 'Mod About You' & 'Pink Friday'. Stamp is from Bundle Monster BM-405. Dots done with dotting tool. Without the ribbon these would make some amazing girly nails.

And my final collage.
While donating to the cause is fantastic, regular checks are so important and that's what these were raising awareness for! Check those boobies girls. Early detection can save lives.

A Good Day... OPI Gwen Stefani Holiday Collection.

Okay so I am a little excited. Today, Christmas came WAAAAY early for me.

It's no secret that OPI is my favourite polish brand, so when this was delivered today I almost died.

And I thought Taylor Swift on Ellen was going to be my day's highlight!!!!

I have to send a HUGE thank you to COTY PR for sending me this. It has seriously made my whole week/month/year. Thank you girls!

I can't wait to make some pretty nails with these. I'm not big on swatching because that's Jen aka The Polishaholic's thing and I can never compete with her perfect swatch reviews.. So I just plan on doing a whole lot of kick ass nail art with them for Christmas.

Hugs for everyone!!

Jack & Sally The Nightmare Before Christmas Nail Art!

Hi guys,

I had to add Sally to My Jack mani!!

I don't do too many cartoon nails and I definitely need to practise more! Sally was way harder then she needed to be.

The finished product!!

These are a mix of polish and paint and of free handing and stamping.

Jack's detail is in the previous blog post but Sally was painted all from acrylic paint. Sally's dress print is done with OPI Need Sunglasses, China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise &  That's Shore Bright. The black is all acrylic paint.

I wish I had filmed a tutorial for these. They were quite easy once I got Sally done haha

Jack Skellington Nails!!!

Hi dolls!

It's getting so close to Halloween now so I thought it was time to do Jack Skellington nails!!

I can't believe I've never seen The Nightmare Before Christmas!! I'll be watching it this week. I used a base of OPI 'Alpine Snow' & Ulta3 'Black Satin' for the stripes and Jack's background.

I used my striping tape method to get such clean lines. Jack's face was all done with my Uniball Signo gel pen and topped with HK Girl Top Coat.

I definately need to watch this movie ASAP! He's adorable.

Obnoxiously Pink Nails

A bring pink mani never killed anyone right??

These are sooo bright.

I used a base of OPI 'Shorts Story' and stamped Pueen plate 73 over it with Konad dark pink. Loving buffet plates. They make a mani matching without being the same image over and over.

Monster Eyes In The Dark Nails

Hi guys,

There are some manis that when I finish them I look at them and squeel. These were one of them.

I loooove this mani!! Just some creepy coloured eyes in the dark... I actually based these off a child's cartoon tv show I watched when I was younger but couldn't think of it at all... A follower of mine on Instagram reminded me that it was called 'Trap Door'. The eyes in the dark is in the intro to the show! Blast from the past...

I used all Ulta3 polishes for this one. 'Black Satin' for the base and 'Atomic OJ', 'Jelly', 'Freshly Squeezed' & 'Blue Marlin' for the eyes over a base of 'Lily White' to make the colours really pop.

Hope you guys like it! Halloween nails are fun!!!

Breast Cancer Ribbon and Stamps Mani

More Pink Ribbon October nails!!

Hi guys,
Did some stamping tonight with OPI and Bundle Monster for BCA Month. It's too hard to fit enough Breast Cancer and Halloween nails into October!! So busy! 31 days is not enough!!

For these, I used OPI 'Shorts Story' & 'Mod About You' with plates BM-317 & BM-321.

I love how quick and easy stamping is. This took me about 10 minutes in total.

Get your pink manis on!

Sugar Skull Makeup, Stamping Nail Art and Mexican Fiesta Cupcakes!!

Hi guys!

I've been super busy this week and my nail art time has unfortunately suffered!! But this is why!!!
(Sorry about my resting bitch face.. the make-up looks weird with a smile!)

This weekend two of my best friends had their engagement party and it was a Mexican fiesta theme!! The dress was anything Mexican so I HAD to go as a Dias de los Muertos/Día de Muertos/Day of the Dead girl. It was SO FUN to do the make-up and make the flower crown from fake roses and a headband. I also made 48 fondant topped cupcakes and a red velvet cake for them! Baking is my other hobby..

I also stamped suger skulls and roses on my nails to match! You know the nails need to match the costume!!

I used OPI 'Anti-Bleak', 'Black Onyx' & 'Vesper' and stamped plates BM-413 & BM-323 over with black and white from Konad. So much fun!

No tutorial for this because I was getting ready for the party and no time was had to film.

Seriously.. look at that Resting Bitch Face!! Hahaha

Till next time!

Carved Pumpkin Face Nails With Video Tutorials

Hi guys!

Today I have a Halloween tutorial to do carved pumpkin nail art, complete with video to show you the step by step process of each nail!

I used black acrylic paint over a base of Ulta3 'Atomic OJ' but I think my gel pen would have been easier to manipulate. I used a Pure Color #10 brush.

See the video tutorials after the jump :)

Hope you enjoyed my video tutorials and are inspired to try your own Carved Pumpkin Nail Art for Halloween!

Cute Halloween Monsters!!

It's time for Halloween nails!!!!!

I love the idea of Halloween but I am NOT a fan of scary things at ALL! So I made my monsters cute. Because what's not more Halloween-y than cuteness!

And I even made tutorials for each one!!

I used a base of @LAgirlcosmetics 'Fairytale' and drew on details and lines with a trimmed down brush from eBay, @Ulta3 'Black Satin' and white and black acrylic paint.

My favorite nail of the bunch!! The tutorial for the cute vampire :) I used a base of OPI 'My Vampire Is Buff' and then black and white acrylic paint for the details with a generic nail art brush I got from eBay. Please note, none of these had been top coated yet in the videos.

Now for the Frankenstein tutorial. He looks so unimpressed..... I used a base of Essie 'The More The Merrier' and used Ulta3 'Black Satin' and black acrylic paint for the details. Brush is a generic nail art brush from eBay. I hadn't added top coat in the videos yet.

And finally... the ghost tutorial. Super easy. Just a few dots and a mouth :) I used Ulta3 'Lily White' as a base, 'Black Satin' for the eyes, and acrylic paint for the mouth. I hadn't top coated while videoing.

Hope you guys like these. Who says Halloween Nail Art has to be creepy?

More Pink Manis for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Hi guys! It's nearly the weekend!

I have a couple more pink manis for October for you!

There won't be a video tutorial for this first one since I accidentally pressed pause instead of record and didn't get any of it on film! Oops!! But pink plaid is pretty!

Polishes used: Picture Polish 'Candy' & OPI 'Mod About You', 'Kiss Me On My Tulips' & 'Alpine Snow'. I used a long bristle nail art brush from eBay to paint the lines. Topped with @glistenandglow1 HK Girl Top Coat because it's the only quick drying top coat that doesn't smudge art!

This next one I remember seeing a while ago by deanne29 and @kayleighwaleynails on Instagram and I quickly sketched it onto one of my nail art templates (you can find them HERE) so I could do it later on. So I did it pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month!!

I love this take on the half moon manicure. Polishes used: China Glaze 'Neon & On & On' & 'White On White', a white Uniball Signo gel pen and a dotting tool. Super girly, easy and quick.

Here is the tutorial.

See how easy the gel pen makes mani?? SO helpful!!

French Tip Nails.. With A Zig and a Zag!

Hello all!

Sometimes plain is just right for nail art. And sometimes plain is too boring. So why not make plain a little funkier and rock some chevron patterned french tips?

Now I know this style won't be for everyone, but I loved having plain and simple nails for the day. They're usually so crazy with nail art it's nice to cleanse the palette.

Not only do they look funky awesome but they're super simple to do...

Any colour would work and you could definitely add art on top to 'crazy' it up a little.

Blue chevron vinyls are from @teismom and polishes used were OPI 'Alpine Snow' & L.A. Girl French Manicure 'Sheer Lilac'.

Going PINK For October and Breast Cancer Awareness Month!!

Hi blog reader-inos!

So, this month I have decided to not just focus on the popular 'Halloween Nails' but to also dedicate many of my manis this month will be pink to raise awareness for Breast Cancer.

Breast cancer affects millions of women and their families every year so most of my nails this month will be pink and involve a ribbon to remember those we have lost, give strength to those fighting and remind you girls to check those boobies!

It's super important, and not something that just affects older women so start getting to know your ta-tas now so if anything does happen to be 'out of the ordinary' you can catch it quicker.

My first Pink Ribbon Mani is of course, a pink ribbon mani!

Because, DUH! Polishes used: OPI 'Sparrow Me The Drama', 'Princesses Rule!', 'Teenage Dream' & 'Alpine Snow'.I painted on the ribbon with just a small nail art brush. Top Coat is the ever amazing Glisten and Glow HK Girl Fast Drying Super Shiny Top Coat. Get some. You won't be disappointed.

Pink fleur-de-lis nail art! Polishes used: OPI 'Shorts Story' (all time fave pink ever!!), 'Alpine Snow' & China Glaze 'Something Sweet'. I used a plate from the MoYou London Tourist Collection for the stamping pattern and hand painted the large fluer-de-lis with polish and a nail art brush I got off eBay and trimmed down. Top coat is @glistenandglow1 HK Girl Top Coat.

This one I even filmed a tutorial for.. And let me tell you.. It was obvious to everyone it was my first proper tute filming.. I apologise For the bad lighting, finger placement and overall crappiness haha

Also, please note this isn't the original Fleur-de-lis in the photo. I removed it the next day so I could film a tutorial so that's why there may be inconsistencies.

And lastly, for this post anyway, is a pink leopard print mani. I don't think I can say how much i dislike the leopard/cheetah print on things in real life. Unless it's on my nails. Then its BADASS!

Polishes used: OPI 'Alpine Snow', 'Pink Friday' & 'Shorts Story'. All done with a dotting tool. If you don't have dotting tools, the end of toothpicks or bobby pins works perfectly. Trust me!

And I filmed a tute for that too!!

So that's it for my Breast Cancer Awareness mani's for now.. These are what I have been rocking this week. Love pink nails so it's not even out of my comfort zone.

Can't wait to see your pink mani's too! And don't forget to buy a pink ribbon this month and help raise money to get lots more research done and hopefully stop this awful disease.

Til next time....
