Ulta3 June 2014 Release Review & Swatches

Happy Friday!!

I finally managed to track down the 10 brand new shades that Ulta3 just released in time for Australia's winter. If you aren't familiar with the Australian brand, they are a super cheap, but fantastic formula polish brand that are sold in pharmacies/drugstores here. Most of these were 2 coaters with a couple being three coaters and weren't thin or streaky at all!

To see all the individual swatches, check after the jump!

On The Green is a gorgeous aqua-mint creme. I can see this one becoming one of my favorite greens in my polish collection! it has a sort of 'glow' to it that makes it seem like there is a shimmer in it but it's just the gorgeousness of the polish. I used 2 coats for the photo below.

Moody Blues is a prussian blue creme. This could have easily been a one coater the formula was so good but I added another just to thicken up the colour a bit. In the bottle this looks a bit brighter than it is on the nail but it's going to be a great winter shade. I used 2 coats for the photo below.

It's A Bit Grey is a charcoal grey creme that leans to more of a subtle green undertone than blue. This could have been a one coater if I had paid more attention when applying it and the formula is nice and pigmented. It's a darker grey but definately doesn't appear black like most dark greys do when applied. I used 2 coats for the photo below.

Cloud Nine is a beautiful beige nude creme that is perfect for my skin tone. As always with lighter colours it was a little streaky with 2 coats so I added a third to even it out. It reminds me a lot of OPI 'Did You Ear About Van Gogh' and Essie 'Sand Tropez'. Definately a dupe. I used 3 coats for the photo below.

Untold Secret is a seashell pink based nude creme. It looks almost looks light pink in my swatch but my camera just couldn't pick up the beige undertones in it. It's a nice spin on the usual boring nude colour. I used 3 coats to get an even coverage for the photo below.

Wild Heart is a taupe-wine creme that could have easily been a one coater. It reminds me of the perfect autumn/fall colour. I wasn't a fan of this colour at all and contemplated leaving it at the store, until I applied it and then I swooned and fell in love. I used 2 coats for the photo below.

Purple Primrose is one of the colours that I was super excited about trying. It is an orchid magenta purple with a shimmer throughout. I found application to be really difficult and I just couldn't get a smoothe application for the life of me! It's a super pretty magenta purple and the shimmer just takes it to the next level. I used 3 coats for the photo below.

Pop Art is my favorite of this whole release! It's a deep pinkish purple creme and a colour I can see myself reaching for this over and over. It comes up more pink in photos but in reality it has a deeper purple undertone. But isn't it gorgeous??? I used 2 coats for the photo below.

Hearts Desire is a crimson pink creme polish that is my other favorite from this release. The formula for this was devine. I used 2 coats for the photo below but this was easily a 1 coater.

Rising Sun is a warm red with orange/peach undertones. Again, I was underwhelmed by this colour at the store but once I put it on my nails I knew this was another perfect autumn/fall colour. I used 2 coats for the photo below.

In the past, some Ulta3 polishes have been very average but this release is amazing. They have really stepped up their game and makes the $2 price tag a total steal!! Some of these have the look and application of a $20 OPI!!
